Wood Thrush, Hermit Thrush or Ovenbird? (1 Viewer)

My guess is Hermit Thrush but would love some expert opinions. I know Oven Birds have color in their crown in Summer but am not sure about winter? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Than you very much!

Hermit Thrush

Agreed!

To OP: when and where did you take this picture? I assume it was recently, and your location is in MD, then Hermit certainly is the default thrush in winter (besides American Robin and Eastern Bluebird, which are easily distinguished).

An addition to howiewu's addition - Ovenbirds migrate to Mexico and south Florida for the winter. It would be a very unexpected species in Maryland in February.
