White Faced Ibis or Glossy-Florida (1 Viewer)

This photo looks like it might be of a white-faced ibis with the red eye and plain-looking face?? Just north of Tarpon Springs FL today.1273.jpg

This was taken in a pond behind the Sun Toyota dealer on US 19 just north of Tarpon Springs. There were 20 other species there yesterday including gadwall, redhead, blue and green winged teal, hooded mergansers, yellowlegs, and sharp-shinned hawk. In Tarpon Springs however is Fred Howard Beach and the surrounding park, which is an amazing birding location. I tried to go there yesterday too, but it was closed for the holiday. Also Anderson park on US19 is a nice stop in the area too. Just a little north is the Anclote Gulf pier, where I saw two black scoters yesterday, and connecting key vista park, another great birding spot.
