Which camera to use for porch ceiling? (1 Viewer)

Hey, my first post! I hope this is the correct place to ask my question.

I have a birds nest in the corner of my back porch, I want to put a web camera in the ceiling near it so that me and my kids can see the progress. But the nest is about 8” from the ceiling and I fear most web cams won’t be able to get the right angle. I think it needs to be pretty flush to the ceiling and about 1 foot away from the nest. Do cameras even focus that close? Has anyone else done a similar set up? I have an outlet about 12 feet away I can use.

I included a pic I took with a selfie stick last year when some robins nested in it.
