I'm making my second ever trip to Slimbridge tomorrow and was disappointed last time as no one could tell me where places were. The WWT site says theres loads to be seen from the Holden Tower ( Which I think I found last time ) and loads on the Tack Piece ... but their website map gives no indication where the Tack Piece is .... can someone please tell me so I dont waste another trip tomorrow.... Many thanks.

Theres usually maps available from the front desk, which tells you the names and where all the hides are. Holden tower is a three story buidling which looks out over the dumbles which is in front of the hide and the tack piece is the flooded area to the right/sort of behind of the tower (if you looking out towards the river). But i've found staff usually quite helpful. Have a good day!
