What is the difference between Zeiss Terra TL and ED - 10x25? (1 Viewer)

I got a promo from Midway USA for the Zeiss Terra TL 10x25 for $149.99 & free shipping. I’m trying to compare these with the seemingly identical Zeiss Terra ED 10x25 that retails for $400. The Terra TL model is not on the Zeiss website and there’s not much detail online elsewhere. Anyone know if these are the same and simply branded differently?

I was told by the manufacturer that they are essentially the same binoculars with only minor differences in appearance. I saw the same deal and if they were 8x25's, I would have purchased a pair.

Thanks. Appreciate the info. In all reality, I guess I’m also looking for a 8x in a pocket as well as a 10x in a full size. Oh well.

The Terra ED is supplied with a hard "clamshell" case and with a choice of 2 colours.
The TL is supplied with a cloth bag and with a choice of 1 colour.
