Hello everyone, first off season’s greetings and a happy new year. I would like to inquire as to what
ever was the fate to those sparrows endemic to the Cape Verde islands that had reached a Danish port in the Netherlands sometime in 2013. I learned the story very recently whilst doing personal research on feral birds; but what I don’t know is what happened to them afterwards in the long-term as seemingly there is no information about what happened to them online. I understand they supposedly were 2 males and 2 females and I’m currently considering if they ever established a temporary feral population someplace. Does anyone know what happened to these (very lost) birds? Any information would be appreciated (as I am young and curious). Thank you and Merry Christmas.
