Washingbirder; Guide for Colombia wanted (1 Viewer)

Hi Washingtonbirder and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. I have moved your post to the Information Wanted forum, as I think more people with the right knowledge may see it there.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

I enjoyed a few days in 2019 with MARÍA ISABEL CASTAÑO and PAULO PULGARÍN, with this web site:
I copied their names from the web site; sorry about the caps. We visited some great places near Medellin. I haven't kept in touch, so I hope they're still guiding.

Also in Medellin, Diego Calderon is the best. I've known him since 2005 or so. He knows every one and would help find a guide if he's busy. Here's his Facebook page:

Thanks. I sent them an email. Most companies have multiple days of birding. I really appreciate your post. If you go to Peru, Australia, Gran Canaria, or Thailand, I'll have some recommendations for you.
Thanks tons,
Jane
PS Where did you bird and for how many days?

Thanks for your info. We are hoping to go to Tatama National Park. There is a lodge and guides to hire. Have you been there?
Going to Pacific Beach in September, so may see a few shire birds.

Oregonian,
Super top. I just reached out to Diego. We'll see if he's available. My son booked us a half day of birding and a chocolate making class. We are really interested in endemic birds and hope to view new birds in Columbia.
Thanks for your help.
