Vortex Solo 8x36 monocular review (1 Viewer)

I picked up a Vortex Solo in February this year and thought I'd share what I think of it. I'd like to preface this by saying I haven't used any high end binocs before, only cheap 250$ and under pairs. I find binocs a bit of a pain to carry around. I bet if you had an expensive lightweight pair this may be untrue for you. This monocular is very light, has a nice belt clip, works well in low light, is waterproof, is fog proof, and has a nice feel in my hand. I actually end up just grabbing my Solo more often than I use my binocs. I find it easier and more enjoyable to carry around on hikes than my binocs. I also love how I can just grab them and bring them along with me anywhere I go with ease due to the small size. I have only used my Solo in urban and somewhat open trails before. I will be putting how they work in a forest to the test this week when I go camping at El Capitan canyon. Overall I find the value, comfort, and size of these Monoculars worth getting. If anyone has anything they'd like to add, please do so.

Kind regards,
Christopher Rasgon
