vortex Raptor 6.5x32 or Leupold Yosemite 6x30 (1 Viewer)

I am looking for an inexpensive lightweight low powered bin to compliment the Leupold GR 8x32's I just ordered. Initially I was just going to order the Yosemite in 6x30, but recently I was able to handle one. I thought it had a very nice view in general but I also thought it was just a tad bit to small in my hands and against my face. I would prefer a bit more room between the oculars. Just a touch more length would be nice as well. I loved the weight though.

Has anyone here handled both and if so, can you tell me about the differences physically? I am pretty sure they will be about the same optically but that is just a guess so input here is welcomed also.

I have searched and re-searched but could not find a direct comparison anywhere, if some knows of one a link would be appreciated.

see the following two links. I like my raptors better than my yosemites. They are slightly taller, but essentially the same. I had some comments on the differences in the link.

Thanks for the links, WiscTJK. I was wondering if anyone was going to reply to this one.
I am still undecided as I have been focusing my attention on the Minox 15x58 ED's I just ordered.
Next week I will order one or the other....maybe both and report back.

If you order both I would be curious to know which one you find best. I saw in one of the thread links that one of the members was talking about the Celestron Nature 8x30, and would be curious if anyone has done a comparison to the Yosemites or Raptors.

I just bought a pair of the Celestrons for $54.72 shipped, so I may have to buy a pair of the Yosemites as well for comparison.

I've had both....

and like the Yosemites a little better. Build quality was a bit better, and the Raptors were not perfectly aligned, although I'm not sure how much you can tell by comparing just two pair (I also have an 8x Yosemite, so I guess three pair).
