Vortex Diamondback HD 8x32 price (1 Viewer)

Hi.
I am browsing few shopping sites to buy Vortex Diamondback HD 8x32. I checked prices, there is one store through Amazon, which is selling in $177 and stores mentioned on Vortex are more expensive. Is there any difference in terms of warranty or genuineness of this item, if I buy the cheaper one ?

JB tools? I would be careful. I ordered a binocular and got a part for a boat from one vendor. It might be true, you can get a veterans discount of 40%. If you actually get a Vortex and it has issues though they will fix it for free.

I recently ordered two of them in 8x32 Diamondback HD through Amazon separately. First one I specifically checked the box wrap with outer shipping bag since I hate them shipping naked with Amazon label slapped on the factory box unprotected.

the first one had a half peeled off Amazon sticker on factory Vortex box which was thrown inside plastic bag looked obviously used.

Called Vortex to see what they can do and they told me send it back to Amazon which I did.

Ordered another after being refund and second one they sent wrong one 10x32 plus naked with Amazon sticker on factory box no outer bag or box.

This one is also going back for refund and I'll just spend a little more to buy locally so I can at least get a nice factory box not banged up or sticky and no used no mix-ups plus if it's defective instant recourse in person for exchange.

The way cheaper Nikon Prostaff P7 8x30 is much nicer than the Diamondback HD 8x32 with more pleasant brighter and much wider view through for $148 on sale that ends real soon. They don't give me any eye strain like how the Vortex Diamondbacks do.

Vortex doesn't care where you buy it, the warranty counts no matter what. Also, Amazon says there is free returns. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it for that price.

I found the DB HD 8x32 on B&H Photo for 149.99 w/free tactical pen. Seems to be the best deal on any site, besides refurbished ones. The 10x32 has the same deal w/pen for 169.99. You need to have the deal sent to you via email. Haven't pulled the trigger yet as I have still been doing my research on other sizes.

EDIT: The price just went to 159.99 for 8x32..

Though tactical pen is not for my use, but 149 (now 159) + taxes is still a nice price, even less than Amazon now. I was waiting for Thanksgiving, but this deal is looking good. I am not sure of Thanksgiving will be even lower. Thanks for pointing this.

No problem, I looked around alot for Vortex deals. This was the best by 20-25 bucks or so. I ended up emailing B&h photo requesting the 149 price and they honored it, so I purchased it last night.

I thought there would not be a better deal on these at Thanksgiving. They also have deals on the 8x28, 10x32, and 12x50, if you request the email price.
