Vocalisations of Eurasian Jackdaw (1 Viewer)

Anyone heard them call like this before?

No idea why but there's no sound with this on BF?

I can hear it Andy, not very loud though.

Obviously Jackdaw, but don't think I've heard that actual call before. What time of day was it I wonder?

Both the high-pitched calls and the harsh "wheezing" sound familiar to me – not unusual in larger flocks.

I've just started to hear it, mid afternoon, there's a large flock that gathers to roost in fields opposite the house.
