Universal smartphone adapter (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with an universal smartphone adapter? I would like to use it with my iPhone 12 and both the NL Pure 8x32 and the Zeiss SLF 8x40.

I did a quick search and found the Opticron Universal Smartphone Mount but the comments on Amazon are not that good.

It's ok. It fits my binoculars very well (NL 8x32 & SFL 8x40) and the dedicated app is convenient.
It is not easy to align it vertically or horizontally if you binoculars are on a tripod or monopod though. Not a big deal but this is the only weak point I can think of.
You should also know that I bought them because another forum member gave their reference, did not compared them with others and do not use them frequently.

Hi, I have used the Opticron one, the design is good and the build quality is ok. I have used it on the NL Pure 42s and because of the Pures design it was not able to grip the barrels very well, I have used it on other binoculars and it has worked perfectly.
It is rather expensive for what it is but it certainly is leagues ahead of the cheaper ones. You can certainly use it on the Pures with a bit of thought and maybe something around the barrels to help it grip a little better , it also depends on how you like your phone mounted as well, portrait or landscape.
