I saw two maiden flights of Large Red Damselfly yesterday to belatedly kick off my UK season!

I saw two maiden flights of Large Red Damselfly yesterday to belatedly kick off my UK season!

Also started my UK season today after seeing several species in Albania last week.

A mature male & a pair in cop in a small pool at the London Wetland Centre. They'll need to be careful as c10 young Marsh Frogs sharing the pool!
