I was window shopping on the Internet again and checking out the price of different Kowa spotting scopes. I found the 553 price on BH photo is especially low:$1099 while everywhere else is at least 1500+. The new 55a is about $2000 but the old 553 also has fluorite elements. Is there any significant differences between the old and new, apart from the zoom range?
