Trouble fitting camera to scope (1 Viewer)

Hello, rookie question here.

I have an Opticron scope and a Panasonic Lumix G90 camera. I have the 41108 Photoadapter and the 40862 HDF T Zoom eyepiece.

I can't get the camera to lock securely onto the eyepiece, it wobbles about alarmingly, and I can't find any detailed instructions or video of how to attach it all together. Do I take off the rubber ring around the eyepiece? Though that leaves only the hard ridged ring, and the photoadapter won't fix to that properly either.

Am I missing a piece or just being thick?

Thank you.
