Thrasher - Sedona, Arizona, USA (3 Viewers)

I spotted this bird in The Village of Oak Creek, which is just a few miles south of Sedona, AZ. Saw it on mid-afternoon of 2 October. Looks like a thrasher of some sort, but I’m not sure of the specific bird. Location is not in the range of LeConte’s, California or Crissal, but at least close for the latter. Crissal is my current guess, but you folks know better than me.

OK, I can see that. I reckon the bill is closer to a curve-billed thrasher. But the breast of the bird I spotted seems too plain. Maybe poor lighting (the sun was pretty harsh).

Crissal thrasher - face/throat-pattern, unmarked underparts, (more-or-less visible) rusty vent. It's in range.

I agree with Butty. Ebird has recent sightings in the Village of Oak Creek.
