The Big Year (1 Viewer)

Hello
Has anyone ever read, or reading, the book, 'THE BIG YEAR', written by Mark Obmascik, copyright 2004? It's described as 'A Tale of Man, Nature, and Fowl Obession'. I finished reading it this morning.
THE BIG YEAR is about these three guys, Greg Miller, Sandy Komito and Al Levantin, who, in 1998, their 'Big Year', went all over North America to get at least 700 birds on each of their year lists.

I thought that I found something new, that not too many different members have heard about. I know, I'm wrong.
I have to find something else like 'The Big Year' to read.

Have you tried Kingbird Highway by Kenn Kaufmann? It's mentioned in other threads, but is worth mentioning again. I found it so inspiring. On a similar theme, but set back in the early 70s.
