Swift call CD? (1 Viewer)

I played a Swift call CD out my window to attract them to my box when they arrived in late April and early May, but they were disturbing the Blue Tits in the back garden so I stopped.

Is it too late to start playing it again this year? They fly around quite close to the house sometimes, but I would have thought it's too late for this year.

Hi David,get your tape playing as soon as you see the swifts in a chasy/follow the leader mood,position your speakers as close to your nest boxes as possible and play the cd as loud as your neighbours can stand.I've been trying to get swifts into my boxes for 2 years,this year I had a swift clinging onto the box,maybe next year.I've been playing my cd every morning this past week and have had some spectacular chases around the eaves,as long as the weather is fine and you have swifts in the area you can expect some kind of action.Pat

RSPB bird sounds
and press the loudspeaker icon by 'swifts'
