Hello everyone ! I need help again !

In your opinion, what would be a good price for a used Swaro ATS 65 spotting scope with a 20-60 eyepiece (excellent condition ; year 2019) ?

Thanks in advance !

Benjamin

I have an opportunity for this model at a price of 1700 euros ( = 1900 dollars = 1450 GBP)...

Is this price OK, or should I try to negotiate?

That price seems high to me. I see them come up quite regularly in the UK for under £1200 with the 20-60 zoom.

Incidentally, and forgive me for seeming opportunistic, I have one that I was thinking of selling but not in any rush so haven't listed it yet.

Mine was bought new (scope body) in Feb 2024. It still has almost 9 years of manufacturer's warranty.

I have a 2006 20-60 zoom in excellent condition that was recently refurbished by Swarovski (received back from Austria in Jan this year). It looks almost indistinguishable from a new one to my eyes.

I'd be looking to sell both together for around £1200 (but would also consider splitting) but as I said I haven't got round to putting it up for sale yet.

I assume only more recent ones would come with the 25-50x wide angle eyepiece? Comparisons between the standard and wide ep would be useful. Not sure if a 65mm. (More compact and carry able) or an 80mm (brighter, so easier to run at higher power) would be a better option.

Thanks for your feedbacks ! It seems the seller is willing to make an good effort towards a fairer price. So thank you very much Steve for your offer, but I will conclude on my side with this first seller.

Hi, out of interest, is this still available for you to sell? If so, is it an angled body?
Thank you
