Swallow or Martin (1 Viewer)

Hi there everyone. Could someone help me identify this bird. It was seen yesterday in Puerto Vallarta. I don't think it's a Rough-Winged Swallow. Could it be a female Violet-Green or some kind of Martin? Any help is much appreciated.

Are you in Mexico? It would help getting advice from people who know that particular area and it's species if you added it to the title, or the first line of the thread.
I think you have a Tree Swallow. A dull female

All plumages of tree swallow are much more contrasting dark/white. Wrong head-pattern and too dusky beneath for violet-green swallow.
It's a rough-winged swallow - at that location, northern rough-winged swallow, as Fern suggests.

On a second look, the flanks are more dusky than they first appear and I do agree that Tree has a crisp white below at this time of year. (No birds should be in juvenile plumage) I had put this down as shadow/light conditions as sometimes happens with overcast conditions.

Thanks Butty for your input!
