Strange Bullfinch, Estonia (1 Viewer)

Checking some old pictures from May 2018 I found this shot of an Eurasian Bullfinch with a somewhat strange head pattern. Any ideas? Could this be a hybrid? Unfortunately, I only have this one shot.

Yes, you’re looking at the crown.

Yes, a red crown. All other pictures of Eurasian Bullfinches I am able to find are showing all black caps, no red crowns.

The red “crown” is actually the left cheek; the crown is facing towards you.
