Starling murmurations in London? (1 Viewer)

Hi. I'm working in Greenwich in South east London and my customers are new to birding. They've asked if I know of any London murmurations. I only know of the Brighton pier one as I've lived in Sussex for over 20 years now. I'm sure there used to be one at Wandsworth bridge? Does anybody know of any in London please? Thanks.

I've looked for information for the same thing with Wandsworth Bridge being the only site I know of. I tried twice there and although I saw plenty of Starlings arriving to roost under the bridge, they were all coming in individually without forming a murmuration. I might've just been unlucky though. The best one I've seen so far was of only a hundred or so birds in a mini-murmuration near Tottenham Hale Station one summer evening a couple of years ago.

I saw a mini one too in SE London not far from you above Sutcliffe Park last week. Again probably fewer than a hundred birds but enough to show the essential features of a murmuration display. As I've only recently started visiting the park regularly I couldn't say how frequent they are locally.
