Squirrel Buster Nut Feeder? (1 Viewer)

Squirrels are very ingenious at solving feeder puzzles. So it is simpler just to block them en route.
A large baffle on the base of the feeder stand is effective, provided there are no nearby trees or roofs the squirrels can leap from. Baffles also work to block squirrel (and raccoon) access to suspended feeders.

Separately, starlings and pigeons often mob feeders, leaving no space for the native species. A simple acrylic dome snug over the feeder limits that problem and leave the field clear for woodpeckers and chickadees.

I've got two feeders that is the perfect solution what happens if a Squirrel of big birds such as Crows, Magpies etc little shutters come down on the perch. I've yet to see that happen.
