Sparrow in Southern California, USA (1 Viewer)

This bird was seen June 15th in my suburban backyard south of Los Angeles in Costa Mesa, California. Sparrows can drive me to cheap liquor. My best guess is a juvenile Junco, perhaps a "gray-headed". Can anyone help on this one?

Thanks,
BJ Donald

I'm surprised not to see more white edge to the tail - but I think you are right with juvenile Dark-eyed Junco.

I think the "Oregon" Dark-eyed Junco is most likely in your area.
