south-west Ontario - possible kingfisher? ID needed (1 Viewer)

This evening a saw a bird with a large head and crest perched in a tree by wetlands. My first thought was that it was a kingfisher. By the time I got my camera out it got spooked and flew far off to a telephone wire. I zoomed in as much as I could but it's hard to make out. Any ideas on what it is?
