South Florida - Everglades National Park - Hawk ID's (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I have been struggling with this one. I am new to birding and hawks have always confused me when it comes to the minute variations between some of them. I was out birding yesterday at Everglades National Park and got pictures of three separate hawks:

My guesses:
-Pic 01 & 02 (Juvenile Broad-winged Hawk; short tail, dark brown head and eyes, thick chest bars more brown than orange)

-Pic 03 (Adult Red-shouldered Hawk; paler head, thinner orange chest bars)

Like I mentioned, I am new to this so they could all be the same kind of hawk but I thought i'd get the experts view so I could learn something. Thank you for any input you might have.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the detailed explanation of what to look for. I never noticed that the thick/thin dark/light tail feather pattern was unique to Red-shouldered Hawks. Thanks again for taking a peek!
