solar birdbaths (1 Viewer)

Are solar birdbaths as good as they seem in theory? They provide sight, sound and movement of water and you can place them anywhere they can get sun without having to run an outdoor electric line. Is maintenace any more of a problem than for birdbaths with an electric pump?

Thanks.

I've heard they are pretty weak and get clogged up easily but that was a couple of years ago. Hopefully they are a little better by now.

Wondering...

I've always wondered about them. Do birds really like warm water? |=)|
