Small grey bird with white cap? (1 Viewer)

I saw a (very) small grey bird with white cap running at speed around a car park at LHR. It seemed to be quickly pecking at the concrete ground as it hopped along, though I couldn't see anything it might be pecking at.
Any idea what it might be?

Your description doesn't seem to fit any of our native birds, so I can't help either. Maybe if you post in the Bird Identification forum, someone might have some ideas as it maybe an escaped pet. Good luck.

Pied Wagtail? I know the cap isn't white, but behaviour fits.
