Single note call - Oriole? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I live in St. Paul, MN, and have heard a bird whistle in the woods for about the last 2-3 wks. The whistle is a single mid-tone note which lasts for about 1 second; the first time I heard it I thought it was a person whistling. I think it might be a Baltimore Oriole, as we have them coming to our feeder, but what I know of Orioles they have a multi-note song and call. Though I heard it coming from the woods, there is also a pond and a small lake near by. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Playing odds, Northern Cardinals have soft one note call
I'm hearing a lot currently in yard. When male is about to present a sunflower seed to female

I think the suggestion of Northern Cardinal is a good one, but I wanted to add that in my experience Baltimore Orioles give single-note songs/calls fairly often. So it could be either. Orioles sometimes follow up their songs/calls with a scolding chatter - you could listen for that.
