shocking video of a golden eagle being victumized by a cougar?? (1 Viewer)

Looks like a young bald eagle to me (perhaps a young Golden Eagle if that's wrong). That Wolf got owned!

The eagle was already injured and apparently couldn't fly away. In a one-on-one encounter, the cougar will invariably win. A wildlife professor once did a study on a hypothetical encounter between the cougar and wolf, comparing such statistics as charging speed (impact on collision), jaw strength, size of fangs, etc. The one area where the wolf came out on top was in endurance. And since wolves work in packs, it is likely that the pack would have come to the assistance of the wolf. If the latter was considererd, then the wolf wins the encounter.

For me the eagle was caught by a human trap with a dead Rabbit attached to it. Very poor image for a Cougar to eat trapped animals.

Seems to be a lot of (....)vs(....) type videos of fighting animals on that site,

I guess you have to start to worry about that kind of mentality.

Matt
