Service for Zeiss binoculars and Opticron scope (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have a pair of Zeiss 10 x 42 binoculars and an Opticon scope. Both could do with a service. I live in North Gloucestershire. Years ago, i took them to the In Focus shop at Slimbridge WWT. Sadly no longer there and from what i can ascertain, the organisation no longer services equipment. Can anyone advise on a reputable service centre / shop that services either or if possible both. If I can deliver in person, so much better. Advice/guidance welcome

Have you tried contacting Zeiss and Opticron directly? Both have UK service centres, and repairs may be covered under warranty 👍

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. I haven't contacted them but i have checked their web-sites. Zeiss signpost to a service / outlet in Norfolk (and whilst i have no experience of them and wouldn't want to be unfair, i have noticed several negative pieces of feedback about the outlet and the customer service) and Opticron have a place in Luton. I could post separately to both or do some more research about the former first. Just wanted to see if anyone could advise on more local options, but you are probably right and that's what i'll have to do. Thanks again.

Jeremy not sure where you picked up adverse reports on Zeiss Service in Norfolk which I assume is East Coast Binocular Repairs.

Because if it is, they and Gary Hawkins in particular, are quite superb and are the Official Zeiss repair agents for the UK.

I have been thoroughly impressed by their courteous and professional service and I am sure that my recommendations would be echoed by everyone on this forum who has received exemplary service from them.

Opticron have a member on the forum, Pete Gamby, and whilst I have never had to use his or Opticron’s service for any of their products (I own several) they too have an excellent reputation.

This is my exact experience also, you are in safe hands Jeremy. In the UK, Zeiss service is second to none!

Fully agree.... I had superb/faultless service from East Coast Optics, and so has a friend of mine. No issues at all.

East Coast Optics are also the 'go to' for 'The Birders' Store' in Worcester for their Zeiss repairs/servicing...
They serviced my HT's before I bought them.
