Screen background in Win11 and photos (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
very recently, I found a setting for displaying my own photos on the background screen of win 11, even allowing a switch every minute. I use that for the images I have prepared for different uses, which usually mean that they are not all that large in pixel number. So far, the best setting I have found shows these at the center of the screen, but I would really like to choose a corner in which to place the images, for example upper right. Any ideas on how to improve this? The problem with center placement is that they almost always are covered by what I am doing on the PC, while I should be able to make a corner free of what I am doing.

Perhaps place the photos on a larger sized 'background', but offset to the corner you want them displayed in, then use these new offset photos (with additional background) as the basis (placed in a folder) for your background screen displays.

Thanks, that is essentially the same proposal I got in a different forum. I have not tried yet, but can see that it should work.

Not the original question, but I'll note that Windows 11 was a big step back in this capability (as it has been in many ways) because previous versions allowed you to set the switching time for photos as low as 10 seconds, rather than the Windows 11 minimum of one minute. So with previous versions you could effectively start watching a slideshow of your photos any time you wanted just by switching to your desktop. You can find registry hacks on the Internet to reduce the switching time in Windows 11, but I always get nervous about editing the registry. If anyone has had success editing the registry for this purpose it would be nice to know.
