It's a Scarlet-rumped Tanager. Male Scarlet Tanager has a red body with just the wings and tail black.

Scarlet-rumped is composed of two populations that are sometimes considered species: Cherrie's Tanager and Passerini's Tanager. I believe that Cherrie's is the form found in Corcovado.

Scarlet-Rumped Tanager

The bird is facing away from us so the rump and back are red and the belly is invisible.

Exactly. Picture is deceiving, it puzzled me too at first. But it's just the head is turned to its back and rump - which is red. We are seeing the bird from the rear. (This tanager looks all black had we been looking at it from the front)
