Robins in Our Backyard (2 Viewers)

Hello! I found this website as I searched for help on thoughts on what to do…
Yesterday morning we had a bird fly into our sliding glass door. She was stunned for a good bit and then we noticed blue fluid and clot-looking piles underneath and around her on the concrete.
Throughout the day she was able to slowly move around the backyard but never left. By evening she was running.
She is still out there this morning and my husband saw her flying around in our backyard. We are starting to wonder if she might not be hurt but more not wanting to leave her babies.
Any advice or suggestions would be helpful on how we can help this momma move on.

Thank you!
Marisa

Hi Marisa and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Sorry to hear you've had a window-strike, always a bit worrying. I'm thinking she may be severely concussed, for which the only way I know to help would be to keep her quiet, and allowed her to rest. Please let us know how you get on, after you've read our post on the care of injured birds. It's really advising on immediate first aid, prior to getting professional guidance,

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
