Please may I seek advice.
I have been going through some photos of a recent trip. At one location, there were some house sparrows present. I took some pics.
The one attached - well I just assumed it was a female House Sparrow. However, just recently I had another look and thought maybe the bill looks too large.
Please may I request any thoughts on the matter if possible

Looks fine for house sparrow. If that's what all the nearby adult males were, that's what it is.

Well Spanish Sparrows often mix with House Sparrows and tend to have bigger bills than House Sparrows. I can't see anything else to support that though. They usually show obvious though subtle streaking on the chest and flanks that isn't visible here.
