Replacement eye cups for a Nikon binocular (where to buy) (1 Viewer)

I need some help in repairing a binocular and I thought who would know more about them than bird watchers. :t:

So...

I have a nice Nikon binocular that still have excellent optics and lens coatings. I purchased them the early '70's. However, over the decades, the rubber eye cups have eroded as shown in the attached picture. Does anyone know of a place I can purchase replacement eye cups. I sent an email to Nikon but never got a reply.

Thanks...

You can call service and repair at 800.645.6678 in El Segundo, CA. They will instruct you from there. You binocular is covered under the warranty. They will most likely ask you to pay $10 and shipping and they will repair or give you the latest model that is most similar. If you have other questions please do let me know. Have a nice day!

Thanks Mike for the information!

I tried that route but the problem is the optics on the original model are much better than what the replacement would be. Nikon makes some very nice equipment nowadays but some of it just isn't the same quality as in the past. I was hoping that perhaps someone makes a "generic" eye cup that I could modify.
