Red-tailed Hawk and Common Raven Battle (1 Viewer)

I took these pictures of a combat between a Red-tailed hawk and Common Raven from my yard.

Unfortunately, the sky was super-bright and the birds were far away, so it's not the best image quality.

Both of them have scraggly feathers, and I'm not sure if this fight caused it.

is a Red Tailed Hawk capable of predating a Raven ?

Theoretically yes, although I'm not sure if it's ever been recorded. I imagine that healthy adult (and alert) Ravens are too bothersome or dangerous to catch for RTH.

I remember watching a couple of youtube videos of Red Tailed Hawks predating pet cats. That surprised me.
