Purple Emperors at Fermyn Woods? (1 Viewer)

Anyone know if the Purple Emperors are showing at Fermyn Woods (Northants) at the moment, and exactly where might be the best spot?
Help much appreciated as it's a two hour drive....

Saw several last year along the ride that goes south from where you can see '94' circled. There is a small layby there, big enough for about 5-6 cars. Look out for the gliding club opposite the layby. We even saw one in the layby! but basically anywhere along that ride, and even across the fields into Lady Wood further south. Personally didn't venture further than the first ride that runs across the main ride (at 90 degress to it) by the top r/h side of the orange arrow, as there were at least 4-5 males that were easy to see, coming to the ground regularly. Also White Admirals and WL Hairstreaks there too.

That's the village of Brigstock on the left of the map.

Very many thanks. Went today and, despite the sun stubbornly refusing to shine, not 35, alas, but saw four or five, mainly along that main ride, with one slightly worn male coming to the ground and posing nicely for photos. Also about 10 White Admirals, Purple Hairstreak and Hummingbird Hawkmoth.
