Possible Osprey call in West Sussex, UK (2 Viewers)

On 25 March of this year, I was walking on the South Downs near Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex and noticed that the Merlin birdsong ID app I was using had recognised an osprey. I initially dismissed it but when listening back to the recording it does sound very similar to osprey recordings on Xeno-Canto. I didn't notice the calls at the time as I was focussing on a nearby song thrush, so I didn't look around to see if an osprey was flying over me. Does the recording sound like it might actually be an osprey, or could it be another bird, and if so, which one?

Welcome to Birdforum Lobbo, the bird on your recording is a Song Thrush, a species well known for its skill as a mimic!
