Pine Siskin Variant? Edmonton, AB (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm in the Edmonton area (May 14 2022) and we had these two Pine Siskins (I think) at the feeder but the one on the left looked odd. More yellow colour with a paler chest and head. I'm wondering if this is a known variant (Green Morph maybe?) or if we're wrong about this one being a Pine Siskin. That's a Nyjer feeder they're on.

Thanks!

I think your bird shows several features of "green morph" Pine Siskin, especially in terms of the bright and extensive yellow flashes in wings/tail as well as the paler underparts with less crisp streaking.
