Peach color breast,grey/brown head in Ontario (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help with the identification of a couple birds I have seen in my backyard for the last few days in Mississauga,Ontario.
The larger of the two is about Cardinal size. The breast is yellow/orange (I originally thought they were Eastern Meadowlarks but upon research and another look at the birds, I found that they do not have a black neck ring.
The wings & back are mottled white and brown.
The smaller bird was identical in color but about large sparrow size.
I have not had any success finding them in my bird books or in the internet.
I will try to get a picture to post.

I think steveo might have it, although more often than not the colour on the breast and forehead is more reddish. Orange/yellow is not too unusual though.

That was my second guess......really! It does fit the peach description better.

I've been seeing quite a few grosbeaks lately with a distinct pale pinkish-orange breast and haven't been able to get a photo! That's what made me think of it.

Thank you to all who responded to my request for help & for welcoming me to the forum. As you know I am new to this, so bear with me please.

To Steveo: I get an abundance of house finches in my yard and the size and colour do not fit. Thanks for trying. I will do my best to get a photo next time so as to not waste your time.
Cavan Wood: Thanks for the pics. Definately not house finch though.
Gillian M: The size is about the same as the rose breasted grosbeak but not the colouring.

The closest thing I have come up with is a juvenile Baltimore Oriole????
I did have orioles at the hummingbird feeder in the spring. I have just filled them again just in case I can entice these guys in for a taste.

Will let you all know when I get some action.
