Had a nice walk around Old Lodge Nature Reserve in East Sussex today, Hobby, Dartford Warbler and Stonechat the best birds seen, it's usually pretty quiet this time of year so was pleased with what we saw. The scenery alone is worth the trip, Plenty of Dragonflies buzzing about as well added to the interest of the day. Full report and pics on the blog at the link, I'm thinking the Dragonfly at the end is a Downy Emerald but happy to be corrected.
