Odd eastern screech owl coloration (1 Viewer)

I have photographed red and gray morph screech owls in this box over many years. They are common in both of my wood duck boxes and I enjoy them, even if they get some of my feeder birds. I have never seen one that appears to have the genetics from both morphs throughout. Is this common or rare?

Not sure if it's common or not but it does look like it is a morph between the two (Eastern Screech Owl red or gray morph). I think that the intermediate colouring is found throughout the populations.
