Odd bird in garden - U.K. (1 Viewer)

Can anyone please tell me what this little visitor is?
It is about the size of a chaffinch or sparrow (or slightly smaller) and only feeds on the floor. It has been in the garden several times today, along with chaffinches and house sparrows, feeding on seeds.
Sorry for the quality of the photo, but I couldn't get closer without frightening it.
Cheers
Denny
