I have never seen a yellow and black Baltimore Oriole before always orange and black. Is this a immature?? Seems to colourful for a immature bird.I would appreciate conformation of what exactly what this bird is
As Mike say´s Baltimore Oriole (a species of it´s own nowadays, as once merged with Bullock´s Oriole), and probably 2cy (SY) male, seems to be some moult contrast, fresher (blacker) inner greater coverts, brownish bleached, but not so worn looking though (first generation?) primaries. At this time of year, if taken now, adults can be in moult, so not sure of it necessarily being SY.
