Nocturnal bird, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, heard nearly every day (1 Viewer)

AntarcticanShrike

What's This?
There's this bird that constantly calls shrilly every night; usually it's once a second, between 3-8 calls in a row. I've only seen it once; the each wing has one thin bar running through the middle of the underside. The wings seem like they're around the length of that of a bittern or a striated heron. The individual I spotted was gliding more than flapping.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Any idea what this bird is? I'd love to know. Thanks :))
