I recently bought a Nikon 8*30 WFC binocular, I want to know if this is the original and made in Japan or fake?
Please help me with this

Those are real Criterion coated Nikons! That's the (C) after the WF. They have the later better coatings and were followed by the Eii. Also the 44 in the serial # is correct for a later E series along with the thick block lettering. The case doesn't look original.

By search and see the nikon catalogue i found that This model production were started in 1988
Before EII models
