Hi.

My name is Jim Hudson. I currently live in Illinois, having moved here in 2008 after 16 years in Yemen. I have been marginally interested in birds for many years, but my interest ramped up significantly several years ago after I purchased a camera that enabled me to record the beautiful creatures I was seeing. As a fairly new birder, I enjoy the frequent excitement of adding lifers to my list, such as my recent Christmas holiday trip to family in Florida where I recorded 54 species, 17 of them lifers!
