NE Hokkaido. Duck family (1 Viewer)

Mid August. Apologies for the quality of the photo but the ducks were in the back of beyond, in a lake in Shiretoko NP. They were the only ducks in a large lake. I was wondering if the silhouette might suffice to identify the species as very few species of ducks breed in Hokkaido. Tufted Duck could be the most likely candidate.
