My all time favourite cars are the Bertelli era Astons. I fell in love with them about 20 years ago when they were 10x less. Ouch is right.
Sometimes I find the pre war car market a little discouraging, as many cars are gobbled up to sit in private collections, never again seeing the open road, nor being shared with the public, all while prices climb as people speculate on them.

My username is actually a nod to the Peter Elleray designed Bentley which culminated in a win for the final iteration of that car at the '03' edition of the annual twice around the clock race in France in June of that year. Designed and engineered by the Brits, but could have been badged an Audi.
